Er bereist Nordamerika und Europa um Heilmeditation-Workshops zu leiten. Tulku Thondup Rinpoche wurde in Golok in Osttibet geboren. Als er f\u00fcnf Jahre alt war, \u00e4nderte sich pl\u00f6tzlich sein ganzes Leben in dramatischer und radikaler Weise. Er wurde als Reinkarnation von Khenpo Konchog Dronme (Khenpo Kome) erkannt, der ein ber\u00fchmter Gelehrter und Meister des Dodrupchen Klosters war, einer bekannten Ausbildungs-Einrichtung der Nyingma-Schule des tibetischen Buddhismus.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wandel-verlag.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/Tulku-Thondup_04.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-592\" alt=\"Tulku Thondup_04\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wandel-verlag.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/Tulku-Thondup_04-225x300.jpg\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wandel-verlag.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/Tulku-Thondup_04-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.wandel-verlag.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/Tulku-Thondup_04-112x150.jpg 112w, https:\/\/www.wandel-verlag.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/Tulku-Thondup_04-125x166.jpg 125w, https:\/\/www.wandel-verlag.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/Tulku-Thondup_04.jpg 428w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a>Politische Ver\u00e4nderungen in Tibet veranlassten ihn, im Jahre 1958 nach Indien zu fliehen, wo er 22 Jahre lang blieb. Er unterrichtete Tibetisch und tibetische Literatur an der Universit\u00e4t von Lucknow (1967-76) und an der Visva Bharati Universit\u00e4t (1976-80).<\/p>\n<p>1980 kam Tulku Thondup in die USA als Gastdozent an der Harvard Universit\u00e4t. Seit dem hat er in Cambridge, Massachusetts, gelebt, wo er sich unter der Schirmherrschaft der Buddhayana Foundation als \u00dcbersetzer und Autor dem tibetischen Buddhismus widmet \u2013 vor allem den Lehren der Nyingma.<\/p>\n<p>Die Buddhayana Foundation ist eine gemeinn\u00fctzige Organisation in Marion, Massachusetts, die von Michael Baldwin und Harold Talbott gegr\u00fcndet wurde und gemanagt wird. Sie hat sich die Erhaltung und die Verbreitung von Weisheit und Traditionen des tibetischen Buddhismus zum Ziel gesetzt. Harold Talbott schreibt und forscht auf diesem Gebiet und er gibt Tulku Thondup&#8217;s Schriften heraus.<\/p>\n<p>Tulku Thondup Rinpoche ist auch eng \u00a0mit dem Mahasiddha Nyingmapa-Center in Massachusetts und dem Chorten Gompa (Kloster) in Sikkim, Indien verbunden. Er hat viele buddhistische Texte im Original sowie \u00dcbersetzungen ver\u00f6ffentlicht.<\/p>\n<p>Tulku Thondup Rinpoche reiste durch Nordamerika und Europa um den Buddhismus zu lehren und um verschiedenste Workshops zu leiten.
