\"\"<\/a>Dudjom Lingpa<\/strong> (1835-1904) was a Tibetan meditation master, visionary, tert\u00f6n of the Nyingma tradition of Tibetan Buddhism and a Dzogchen master of principal importance (particularly in the area of “refining perception”) at his time. He receive direct transmissions (nye brgyud<\/i>) of the mindstream or “heart-mind transmission” (thugs brgyud<\/i>) of a number of lineage holders such as Sri Singha, Saraha, Vajradhara and Manjusri.<\/p>\n

Dudjom Tersar <\/strong>is the collective name for the large collection of terma teachings revealed by Dudjom Lingpa and Dudjom Rinpoche. As a class of texts, Tersar<\/i> (gter gsar<\/i>) means “new or recently-revealed treasure teachings”. Dudjom Rinpoche was a major tert\u00f6n (gter ston<\/i>) or revealer of hidden teachings.<\/p>\n

The Dudjom Tersar is a powerful and complete cycle of tantric transmissions deriving from Dudjom Lingpa and his reincarnation Dudjom Yeshe Dorje (1904-1987). It focuses on Three Roots (guru, tutelary deity, and goddess) deity yogas and associated primordial awareness yogas that derive from the teachings of Guru Padmasambhava of India and his close student, the Princess Yeshe Tsogyelma. Dudjom Lingpa and Dudjom Yeshe Dorje are no other than Guru Sakyamuni’s own student Sariputra, and also the Great Adept \/ Mahasiddha Saraha.*<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This text presents the view of the Great Perfection through the approach known as trekch\u00f6 (cutting through solidity). Buddhahood Without Meditation<\/i> is widely known by its subtitle, Nang-jang<\/em> (Refining Apparent Phenomena<\/em>).<\/em>\u00a0This second, revised edition is the result of a thorough re-examination of the original English translation done in an effort to clarify the terminology and meaning of Dudjom Lingpa’s text for Western students of the Great Perfection.<\/p>\n

The glossary has been revised accordingly and expanded to incorporate new terms. It also includes the Tibetan text as edited by H.H.
